I always look for black cherry bakelite it's not as common as other bakelite colors and one of my favorites.

Rope carved bakelite bangles in marbled black cherry, each measures 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" wrist x 3/8" walls.

Chunky gouge carved bakelite bangle with great marbling and it's been recently polished so the finish is fantastic and flawless, measures 7/8" wide x 2 1/2" wrist x 3/8" wall height.
